AVTS were the pioneers in initiating a Free Safety Campaign just before the Easter week-end and prior to the Festive Season. It has now become a national initiative, driven by the RMI and the NVTA. Motorists are invited to submit their vehicles for a free safety test during these promotional times as part of the RMI NVTA ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN, and the following items are checked:-

• All lights including indicators
• Seat belts
• Wipers
• Front Tyres
• Rear Tyres
• Foot-brake front
• Foot-brake rear
• Hand-brake
• Steering mechanism (steering control arm, steering box and tie rod ends)
• Front and rear suspension
• Exhaust
• Wheel alignment

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a roadworthy test, so not all the roadworthy items have been checked. The test station performing this safety check will not be liable for any errors, omissions or latent defects arising subsequent to the check. the comments and results are only valid at the specific date and time of the test.
