ISO 9001:2001
ISO 9000 is an international standard for quality management systems. It focuses the organisation to establish what the customer wants, and uses quality management principles to satisfy their expectations.
We have embarked on the path to ISO 9000 to improve our service delivery to customers and have been successfully evaluated against this standard.
26 members of our management and staff were also trained by Pentech (Centre
for Continuing Education) in the understanding of ISO and it's implementation.

sabs
All vehicle testing stations in South Africa are required to be registered with the Department of Transport, and this devolved to the Premier of the Western Cape. In terms of the Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996, the appointed inspectorate of Vehicle Testing Stations is the SABS (South African Bureau of Standards).
The SABS evaluates each test station for compliance with SABS 0216 and the Road Traffic Act and Regulations. It achieves this by annual audits, ad-hoc inspections, review of customer complaints and inspection of test vehicles and acting as a watch dog body.
All our test stations have been in total compliance since opening. The South
African Bureau of Standards and the Provincial Administration of the Western
Cape, under whose licence we operate, has had no reason to withdraw the
registration of any AVTS test station since opening the first test station
in 1992
